Ok, so last time i was waiting for this whole blogger thing to go wrong..... and it did! 12 hours later my hard drive died a painful and noisy death and i've been offline since then. But a curious thing has happened since not being able to blog - i have started to constantly think of what, and how, i'm going to write in the next blog. I've never done so much conscious thinking and reflecting ever before and it's been quite theraputic. Of course, i can't remember most of what i was going to write, but take my word for it - it was inspiring stuff!
So, what do you do when everything seems to go wrong? coming back from our awsome youth weekend (on the way to which we wrote off our car) we discovered that our shower, house phone, my mobile and kitchen tap had broken. It's been a very expensive month. But we kind of thought as we had given up our time and energy (we didn't have huge reserves to spare) and money for God that our rewards would be plentiful - not everything breaking on us! But, alas, God isn't that predictable (or stupid!). so we have a new car (v.nice) and a desire to seek God in prayer and to live as if our very lives depend on Him (because we can't afford it on our own). See, God is quite clever after all.
