So, it's been a while since i've blogged - mainly because in the forfront of my mind has been how the weather has been way too hot and how frustrating toilet training can be (not material for your average blog reader to want to read). But yesturday my clever daughter did something so unexpected that i'm still in shock.
So toilet training has been a nightmare, in that alot of Megan's character has shone through the process and i've realised she's so much like me. We've tried a sticker chart as a reward but she isn't that fussed about it, almost with the attitude of "ok, so i don't get a sticker 'cos i peed on the floor, big deal". I had begun to think that she really didn't care enough to even try to get to the toilet and i was going to have to get tough on her. But on Tuesday, after peeing on the carpet again she said a heart-felt "sorry" which made me melt. then half an hour later while i was cooking supper Steve went looking for her and found her perched on the rim of the toilet seat having successfully done a poo and he managed to catch her before she fell in! Then, just before bath time she said "do wees", climbed onto the toilet and did one. Just when i think i've got her figured out, Megan will suprise me and i hope she'll keep on doing just that.

And now she's just finished her second completely dry day - hoorah!
