Where has this past month gone???!!! It's been mainly spent chasing Megan around the house trying to stop her from eating woodlice/fluff/crumbs/shoes (!!), and also gearing up for the event of the year - her 1st birthday and dedication. She zooms around now looking very pleased with herself. Also, to complete my joy, she has become really affectionate! When she was littler she didn't like being hugged at all and would be held only to get from A to B or given food. Now she will crawl onto my lap and sit and be cuddled, or even nicer will stand on my lap with her arms tight around my neck. My heart is close to bursting at times.

I took the 6 & 7 year olds this morning in PowerZone and it was a real joy. I think it's my favourite age to be with - they're so funny and intense. We talked about how the Holy Spirit helps us when we pray...and i think they are way ahead of me when it comes to a relationship with God. Still, Steve and i are looking forward to September when we can fully concentrate on the youth. we may even get to sit through a church service if we're lucky!
