My daughter the Goth
So i've spent the afternoon with Megs being creative after watching what is the best Cebeebies program ever ("Doodle-do", or "Doodle-oodley-do" as she calls it), painting wet-wipe butterflies. Despite having 5 other colours to choose from, Megan insisted on just using black. Everytime i suggested using a green or a blue for a more cheerful butterfly, she'd maybe do a token blob to humour me but then go back to the black. In the end i gave up and did my own.

Youth home group was ace on Sunday. We talked about how to survive our families and spent most of the time laughing at the funny stories we shared. It was the perfect end to a great weekend, on saturday we held the first youth beauty day, with a chocolate fountain and makeup and hair tips - very girly and lots of fun. The best thing was hearing the feedback afterwards, the girls brought their friends and their friends loved it and now want to come to church!! Things are definately afoot.
